The hike begins with a unique view of the Oak forest on one hand and the cultivated Pine wood on the other. During the walk, you will encounter some annual plants and trees such as the Hawthorn, Rhamnus, Calicotome, horse chestnut, Wild almond, the Feijoa, theCapparis Spinosa and the Chiliadenus.
The trail will then guide you to the viewpoint – 308 meters above sea level – where you may take a rest while enjoying a captivating view of the Lake of Tiberias, the Tur Mount and the Golan Heights.
The track provides evidence of previous civilizations, as you will find water channels used in the Roman era, sedimentary rocks and caves, military trenches and an artillery point from the 1860s.
