Day 02: Amman Hotel - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Dead Sea Beach - Petra Hotel.

Day 03: Petra Visit - Petra Hotel.

Day 04: Camel Trek: Humaima - Kharazah.

In the early morning we drive to Humaima to start our camel trek, an authentic and eco-friendly way to explore the unique and timeless area. The Arabian camels have only a single hump, and are since thousands of years the companions of Bedouins. The guide will give you an introduction of the riding technique and after a short while you will be able to handle your camel by yourself. This first ride takes us via Humaima, an area with Nabatean, Roman and Abbasid remains to the rock bridges of Jabal Kharazah. Camp, overnight in camp.

Day 05: Camel Trek: Kharazah - Disi.

After breakfast we will make our way to the area called Disi. In comparison to Wadi Rum the area is flatter, you will have amazing views and pass astonishing rock formations. Enjoy the landscape, and the leisurely pace of your camel. Our bivouac will be in Disi.

Day 06: Camel Trek: Disi - Wadi Rum.

Today we reach on our camels the majestic desert landscape of Wadi Rum, featured by rugged mountains, coloured sand dunes, Nabatean and Thamudic rock inscriptions. The protected area is famous for Lawrence of Arabia who spent here a lots of time during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire and describes the beauty of Wadi Rum in a book. We ride to Barrah, a spectacular canyon with high cliffs and some rock inscriptions. Dinner & overnight at camp.

Day 07: Wadi Rum - Amman Airport - Departure.

After completing your joyful tour in Jordan, we would like to bid you farewell by our driver or representative to Queen Alia International Airport.

Kids are welcome, Map Tours has several Family Trips, However, trips tend to be active so make sure to check if the activities are appropriate for small children. Overland tours require that travellers be 18 or older.

How much shall I tip?

Tipping "gratuities" is not obligatory, but the people who are working in the tourism sector depend on tips as a major part of their income. Therefore, tipping is considered customary and widely expected in Jordan, while The amount depends on the situation. For example, In the restaurants, it is good to give 10% tip directly to the waiter even when there is service charge added to the bill as the service tax does not go to the waiters.

What are the opening and closing hours for tourist sites?

Most sites open from 08:00 until 17:00 during summertime and from 08:00 until 16:00 during wintertime, noting that these sites close earlier during Ramadan.
