Today starts our tour to the Desert Castles in eastern Jordan. We visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Amra Castle with its zodiac dome and the early examples of Omayyad fresco paintings. Moreover you view the fortress-like mysterious Qasr Kharanah and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq We go back to Jordan's capital, it should come as no surprise that Amman is brimming with activity and has no end of exciting things to do. Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon, is a bustling modern city. The historical places are located in downtown, where we visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. Then we have a round in the Archaeological Museum. Visit the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6000 seats and time to stroll through Jabal Amman, one of the oldest parts of Amman. We will visit the Royal Car Museum with the collection of the late King Hussein, (Tuesdays closed) Transfer to hotel for overnight.

In the morning we drive two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Here you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee, Heading to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. We visit the spectacular Forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. Jerash has a rhythm not seen anywhere else in Jordan. Back to Amman for overnight.

After breakfast, we drive 1.5 hrs to the protected area of Wadi Rum, today explore the desert by a camel you begin your adventure with a visit to Lawrence’s Spring, where T.E. Lawrence was reputed to have washed during the Arab Revolt. Continue to Wadi Um Ishrin and the famous sand dune area, here we stop for lunch and rest. Proceed to see the ancient Anfashiyeh inscriptions, before crossing over to Um Rashid Canyon, and passing through Lawrence's House. We trek onwards to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, heading to this vast red desert with its rolling dunes and dramatic rock formations in a 4x4 and camp under a blanket of stars, Wadi Rum also known as The Valley of the Moon is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock. it is the largest wadi in Jordan. We will never miss the ancient riverbeds, vast pastel-colored stretches of sandy desert and amazing rock formations known as jebels form the incredible landscape of Wadi Rum in the south of Jordan. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Leaving wadi rum heading to Aqaba, the only gateway to the red sea, to enjoy the beaches, and the Jordan’s only seaport. Relax at the beach or try one of the water activities to discover the varied marine life like snorkeling or a glass bottom boat ride. Aqaba is known for its weather and red corals, Aqaba is just the ticket for sun, fun, diving, snorkeling and swimming, great place for watersports such as waterskiing, parasailing, jet-skiing and fishing and ideal for a spot of relaxation, Aqaba has the oldest church dating from the 3rd century AD. you can also be interested by visiting, Aqaba Castle, Aqaba Marine Park, Sharif Hussein Bin Ali Mosque, Ayla, Aqaba Aquarium, Aqaba Bird Observatory.
